About 200 students from various colleges in Mumbai have been training the students at Municipal schools all around the city . These training sessions are being arranged by The Citizens Association For Child Rights , a non profit voluntary organization .
The condition of computers in the BMC schools is poor , moreover there is also an absence of proper trainers , to teach the students . This issue has been taken up by the organization .
The students visit the schools on Saturdays , or in their vacations and teach groups of 30 school students at a time .Students from HR College of Commerce and Economics , KC College , Thadomal Shahani College , KJ Somaiyya College and NMIMS College are a part of this training programme .
The students feel driven by the excitement shown by the school students , mostly belonging t low income families. CACR also has a master trainer programme , wherein citizens and working professionals from across the city give their time to train teachers .
